Hello, and thank you for chosing the Obsidian Sled.

The Obsidian Sled is a blog, covering Toronto’s comedy scene, and highlighting the output of Toronto’s comedians. The obsidian sled also receives several thousand hits a day, and has cooperation from many other key comedy sites in north america, and is therefor integrated into the north american comedy community. The Obsidian sled is Toronto’s comedic portal, a portal visted by outsiders, and frequented by the local audience.

In order for you to benefit from this, as well as the site to benefit from the diversity of the Toronto comedy community, we have decided to break with Comedy blog tradition and invite promoters to post their own shows.

How do to it.

It’s simple. Click HERE TO LOG IN/CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Once your account has been created, you will need to verify via email (typical strategy). Then afterwards, you can log in at will, and write a show post.

Inclue: Date/Time/Location

Host/Headliner

Guests/Acts

And upload your poster. Shows with a poster are more pretty and clickable for internet users.

In order to prevent spammers, all show posts have to be approved by the admin here, so don’t worry about the board flooding with pornography.

Post your shows! people will come!

How to post videos

This is important. I have added a function to make it eaasier to post videos now.

I have added spaces in [ video ] to prevent the software from thinking that i as trying to post a video.  Remove the spaces.

DO NOT post your <embed> links. Those links a) only work in internet explorer (the obsidian sled has to translate Microsoft’s proprietary <embed> command to something universal) and b) you don’t have to. The blog now will do all the work.
